Resume

Currently~

Jeff Dezen Public Relations, Greenville, SC             Account Executive

After two years with the fabulous staff of JDPR, I’ve now been promoted to account executive. I’m working with some amazing clients right now, trying to stay creative and bring as much as I can to the table while learn from the veterans I work with. I primarily work with Verizon Wireless, supporting the Carolinas/Tennessee region.

The LOT Project, Anderson, SC                                            Volunteer PR work

The LOT Project is a volunteer based organization whose mission is to provide a platform for the body of Christ to love, pursue, and provide for the “least of these” both spiritually and physically. For this nonprofit, I have been doing volunteer social media consulting and media relations. Check out some of the media coverage we’ve gotten for TLP.

NewSpring Church, Anderson, SC                                     Intern

I worked under the FUSE Student Ministry staff and gained experience planning services (a lot of creative planning went into this, using a variety of media and music) and planning events (try a student conference attended by more than 600 middle and high school students in Panama City Beach, FL). Among other things, it was at NS that I was first really exposed to blogging and Twittering. I learned from some of the best (like Tony Morgan, nationally known strategic extraordinaire). Also, since it is a church, ethical standards and accountability were highly stressed attributes of all employees.
